Mr. Young clarifies that modern Trump Towers are about premium design and fit-outs, contrasting the old footage of gaudy gold-plated fixtures with today's refined aesthetic. The tower will be Australia's tallest before the decade ends, but a rival 393-meter tower in Southport poses a challenge. Mr. Young's persistence led to the deal, despite initial hurdles like the Global Financial Crisis.
